Standard issue equipment for warriors of the Klingon Empire, these communicators were seen throughout Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, most memorably during the tense negotiations between the Klingons and the crew of the Enterprise.

The original screen-used props were cast in resin and finished with a heavily weathered, battle-worn appearance. Three were produced for filming, and Factory Entertainment is fortunate to own one of those original prop communicators. Our “hero” prop is the example most frequently seen on screen, including the dramatic confrontation on the Genesis Planet that precedes the death of David Marcus.

Using detailed 3D scanning, we have recreated this prop with exceptional accuracy. Like the original, the replica is cast in resin and hand-painted, but for improved durability the distinctive top fins have been upgraded to metal while preserving the authentic on-screen look.

Limited to just 500 pieces, each replica is presented in an attractive wooden display case and includes a numbered metal plaque and a certificate of authenticity.
